About the course
At Hull, you study the latest marketing concepts under expert staff who are passionate about the subject. Our aim is to inspire you to become creative marketing professionals who are both customer and brand champions. You work on live projects at every stage of this hands-on programme, boosting your employability.
You'll learn how to understand consumer behaviour through marketing intelligence and analytics and how to use digital marketing and social media. And you'll discover the ‘holistic marketing’ approach, in which you balance an organisation’s short-term objectives and long-term goals with the needs of the environment and society.
We invite expert guest lecturers to keep our students up to date with the latest issues in marketing. You're eligible for student membership of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and can take part in field trips to destinations such as the Museum of Brands, the National Media Centre and marketing conferences.
Many students choose to spend a year working on a professional placement or studying abroad as part of their degree. Summer schools are also available with a range of overseas partners, which are credit-bearing for degree purposes – a distinctive feature at Hull.
