About the course

Our Business Economics course enables you to become proficient in analysing problems like a seasoned economist while using in-depth theories to grasp how different business strategies can be employed and how they are applied around the world. You will gain an understanding of economic theory and build up a set of skills in economic analysis, while recognising the importance of quantitative methods and helping build mathematical and statistical skills.

Combine this with the opportunity to boost your employability through an additional year of professional experience, often with a top global business, or by studying at one of our partner institutions in Europe, Asia, North America or Australia. If you do not have the qualifications and experience to enter the BA Honours course directly, a foundation year in Business and Management will give you the academic abilities to progress to the first year of your degree. The University of Hull’s distinctive, integrated approach has earned international accreditation from AACSB – held by less than 5% of the world’s 13,000 business programmes.
