Our Postgraduate MSc in Health Professions Education is designed especially for intercalating students and health care professionals who are interested in education. This course covers a wide variety of topics of interest to anyone working in nursing, midwifery, radiography, physiotherapy, pharmacy, dentistry or other health profession.
You will gain an expert understanding of curriculum design, delivery, assessment, feedback, leadership and research approaches to education across the health professions. This programme will enhance your professional credibility and confidence in teaching and practice.
You can choose to study either distance learning which is 100% online or blended learning which includes one face-to-face study day per module.

Applicants must hold a relevant undergraduate degree or its equivalent and have access to an appropriate level of teaching activity (we recommend around 18 hours which should ideally consist of a few separate events) during the year of the programme.
Students considering intercalating on the full time MSc in Health Professions Education must have a satisfactorily completed a minimum of three years on their undergraduate degree. Intercalating students will be offered peer teaching opportunities to help them meet the learning outcomes.
