Worried about a friend
If you have concerns about another student, it is always best to discuss your concerns with them and encourage them to access the Health & Wellbeing Team themselves. You are welcome to attend an appointment with them, if they would like you to.
If this is not possible, you can raise a welfare concern here. Please be aware that without a student’s consent, we may be limited in terms of what action we can take. However we would still encourage you to report any concerns you may have, regardless of whether the individual is aware, as we may still be able to support them and you, should you wish.
If you are concerned about another students immediate safety you can call 999 or the Mental Health Response Service on 01482 301701 (24hrs).
