For the majority of our undergraduate courses, you’ll need to apply through UCAS. As well as providing your personal details, academic qualifications and any employment history – it’s a great way to showcase your skills, qualities and passion for the subject you’re wanting to study.
You don’t need to complete your application all at once – after you’ve registered with UCAS, you can save your progress and sign back in at any time.
Use our institution code H72, and for medicine (HYMS) use H75.
For most courses, we accept applications all year round. However, we do recommend that you apply before 15 January. The following courses do have strict deadlines for applications.
Applications for Child Nursing and Midwifery must be received by 15 January.
No further applications to be considered for 2016 entry for Child Nursing, Midwifery, Adult Nursing, Mental Health Nursing and Learning Disability Nursing.
For Medicine, applications must reach UCAS by the 15 October of the year before the course starts.
To guarantee entry to the University, you must have met all the conditions of your offer by 31 August.
If you have used all five of your UCAS choices and not received any offers, UCAS Extra allows you to make one additional choice*. UCAS Extra is available from late February until 30 June. Please check the UCAS website for up to date information, including which programmes are available.
*It is unlikely that you will get an offer by reapplying to the same department through UCAS Extra.
The following courses are available for part-time study.
To apply for one of our part-time courses, you’ll need to complete a part-time study application form and return it to Rachel Ferguson, University of Hull, Admissions Service, Venn Building, Cottingham Road, Hull, HU6 7RX.
If you have any further questions, please email email@example.com.
Clearing and summer applications
Clearing is available July to September every year.
During Clearing, you’ll be able to apply for courses which have places remaining. You can use clearing if you:
- Apply after 30 June
- Didn’t receive any offers (or none you wanted to accept)
- Didn’t meet the conditions of your offer
You can find out more about Clearing on the UCAS website.
Make sure you take a look at our course pages between July and September to see our remaining places.
